Don't Settle!

Many of us want happy, successful relationships.  I'll be the first to say one day I want to get married, have children, and live happily ever after.  Nowadays, tradition, for the most part, seems to be a thing of the past.  I find a lot of my friends and family just settling for anything to be with someone.  So, I decided to write a song.  It's about wanting to be more than a jumpoff to someone.  I just want to encourage everyone not to settle.  If there is a certain type of man or woman you want, don't just settle for less than to have something.  For instance, you may want an attractive man that's single.  Don't just settle for an attractive, attached man in order to have a man.  There's a single, attractive man out there for you.  Maybe you want a woman that's attractive and conservative.  You don't have to settle for that attractive, promiscuous woman.  On the other hand, you may have found someone that fits the majority of your list.  Maybe that someone doesn't want a commitment.  He or she just wants to have sex with you when y'all are in the same city or town.  Don't just settle for that just to be with that someone.  Stick with your standards.  Your Mr. or Mrs. Right is still out there.  I promise!
